An enthusiasts magazine by pipers for pipers in North America
Spring 2011 Edition
Richard is a piper now living in the Livermore/Bay Area of California. Richard is reliable, punctual and takes his piping and events seriously, yet always maintains a cheerful can do attitude in rain, wind and other inclement weather or unplanned circumstances that can crop up at a moments notice.
Richard plays with an unforgetably moving and spiritual sound for a funeral ceremony or graveside service. Should you require a piper for a special event or opening ceremony Richard is your piper as nothing can draw attention to an opening event like the pipes drawing in curious customers from afar. Or perhaps you want to surprise your loved one with the haunting yet romantic sound of the pipes for a private sunset piping at the beach or other location. Maybe you want to send someone a pip-o-gram for a birthday, retirement party or other occasions.
Richard is available for performances within the Bay Area (San Jose, East Bay, San Francisco, Pennisula), as far North as Yreka; as far East as the Lake Tahoe area and as far South as San Louis Obispo/Bakersfield. If Richard is not available for the date of your event, he will endeavor to make sure that a professional and experienced piper will be found for your event. Nothing can be worse than having an inexperienced piper in attendance, and Richard can help you to make sure you find a suitable replacement if need be.
Richard also will play at churches, nursing homes and grade schools as a free community service upon request.
