From the Editor, Richard Ferguson

North American Pipers Magazine is a piping magazine for pipers by pipers.  While there are other forums like the very great 'Piping Times' which all of our staff read and thoroughly enjoy, sometimes the Times leaves one wanting for more, or at least  stories somewhat more relevant to our daily piping lives in North America, our equipment, and some of the fun and funny stories that could not be published in an excellent and professional publication like the Piping Times.  So we must suppose from that the North American Piper Magazine is neither professional nor excellent.  This tis true!  But we think you will have fun reading each addition, as it is written by many local pipers such as your self going through the trial and tribulation  of the "piping journey".

We encourage you VERY STRONGLY to send to us your piping stories unique, funny, weird, entertaining and if appropriate will publish your stories here.  If you know of a unique Long Piper please send us their photo in their place of performance and if possible send us a taping of their playing.  If you have piping album or any piping products you would like reviewed, please send them into the address provided and we will try review the items as best as possible. 

(please note, due to the sheer volume of products coming in for review, we cannot return products after review, nor can we guarantee a review will be published in every case.  Please email us before sending sample piping products.  Also please note, we only accept directly related bagpiping supplies and products)

Submission of your stories

Please note, if you submit to us your stories, we probably will try to publish it within these pages in part or in their entirety at our sole discretion.  This web magazine is not a business, and is not for profit.  I will try to publish as many stories as I can get to, some months however I receive many more stories than I have space for.  Thank you again for your stories, from you the reader, as that is what makes this magazine.  Editor, Richard Ferguson

Copyrights - Nothing in these pages are copyright protected, or all of it is. I just don't know as this is a personal webiste, and I grab images I like.  So reuse images you find at your best discretion and for non-profit purposes only.  If you have found I have borrowed a picture of yours that is copyrighted or offensive, please let me know asap and I will take it down.  Again, I should hope you take it as a compliment that I have found your photo or drawings interesting bonny enough to put it within these personal webpages of mine.
